Section 2- Tools for the Job:

Before thinking of making a hamburger, the necessary tools and ingredients need to be gathered together. 
This makes the upcoming processes easier.

Below is a list of ingredients and cook wear for making the food.

-Cook Wear-

  • Stovetop Spatula (metal or plastic)
  • Grilling Spatula (long handle spatula)
  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Small Mixing Bowl
  • Metal Whisk
  • Wax Paper
  • Cloth Towel
  • 2 small pans of similar proportions
  • Large Cast Iron Skillet
  • Large non-stick Skillet
  • Cookie Sheet (or a large rectangular pan with no sides)
  • Large pan or plate
  • Gas Grill

-Ingredients-

  • 2 pounds ground chuck
  • 1 pound ground sirloin
  • Bottle of extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • ½ cup toasted bread cubes
  • ¼ cup steak sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 Pack of Thick Sliced Bacon
  • Red Onions
  • Mushrooms
  • Sweet Basil
  • ¼ teaspoon Savory
  • Garlic Powder

[Tips ‘n Tricks- Bread Cubes]
Have some bread, but no toasted bread crumbs?
Not a problem, since that’s what this section is here for.

Take 1~2 slices of bread (depends on the size of the slice, but 
    normally one slice is enough) and toast till the outside is a golden brown.

Place the toasted bread on a cutting board and using a large
                  knife cut the bread into 15~16 horizontal slices.

Now keeping the slices together repeat the previous step
    however, cut in a vertical direction. This will create small chunks (should be a little         less than ¼ inch thick).
