Welcome to the home page for PHIL 329, Skepticism, for the Fall 2005 semester.
 

About the course:
Can we have knowledge? We'll discuss and evaluate various reasons some philosophers, from ancient times to the present day, have said "No!" Topics include paradoxes, the problem of induction, skepticism about causation, and skepticism about knowledge in general. Authors include Sextus Empiricus, David Hume, Nelson Goodman, and others.
