Corvette is a sport
car that Chevrolet manufactures. Corvettes are very popular because they have the closest power to the extremely expensive cars and are affordable. People shorten the Corvette name and usually call it vette. Vettes come in different styles such as the convertible and coupe. The corvette logo is a famous one with the two flags that has the racing symbol in the left side, and Chevrolet symbol in the other. Corvettes are very low compared to the other cars. You can not see the person driving a corvette if you are in a truck. Another exclusive feature of corvettes is the reverse opening hood. Most cars hood open from the front. However, corvette hood open from the back of the hood (see picture on the right). In addition, corvettes are known for their flipping headlights but this was changed in the C6 generation (see picture in the left). Vettes are very popular that people call them the American Dream. |
