Toledo Bend - Very good spring time fishing if you like to catch BIG bass in shallow water. Target structure such as lay downs and grass in shallow water. In early morning use topwater, spinner bait, or rogue. As the sun rises and water warms, switch to a sinko or a lizard. Henderson - Has been very slow since hurricane Katrina. But things are starting to look up for the Henderson area. Early and late bite on buzz bait and frog and crank bait in midday around points. Lake Chicot - Big fish on jigs and brushhog. Focus on any and all structure. False River - Late afternoon and night bite in fineness worms and towpath. Look for docks and lay downs. Lake Martin - Cypress trees are key. The bigger the Better.
