I am assisting Dr. France and Dr. van der Ham as a lab tech on a project studying genetic variation of deep-sea bamboo corals and primnoid corals. I perform DNA extractions, PCR amplifications, cycle sequencing reactions, and gel electrophoresis on these samples. I am interested in pursuing a career in marine biology.
