| HOW TO CHANGE YOUR OIL AND ROTATE YOUR TIRES |

FILLING
YOUR OIL 1. Use your finger
to put a slight film of old or new oil onto the rubber gasket of the new oil
filter 2. Reinstall new
oil filter HAND TIGHTEN ONLY 3. Jack up front
end of the truck under the cross member and remove the jack stands 4. Slowly lower
front end to the ground 5. Remove dipstick
and wipe clean 6. Using a funnel add new oil to the top of the engine
7. Pour in about 4
quarts and then let settle for 5 minutes 8. Reinstall oil
cap 10. Check oil with
dipstick 11. Add oil as
needed usually one more quart will suffice, SEE OWNERS MANUAL 12. Once oil level is in the recommended operating range start the engine and allow to idle for 30 seconds 14. Recheck oil level with the dipstick 15. Add oil if
needed at this point 16. Check for leaks 17. Clean up any
spillage 18. Let your truck
run for 2 minutes 19. Recheck for
leaks 20. Pick up all
tools and bring oil to a recycling center 21. You have
successfully changed the oil in your 2003 Ford F-150 |
