Symbolism in literature

Symbolism is found in most fiction and at times can be difficult to identify. Other times the symbolism is intentionally obvious as is the case of Roger Malvin’s Burial. Other examples of symbolism in literature can be found easily in my list of journal entries. However, a couple that you might like to consider are The Fall of The House of Usher, The Man Who Was Almost a Man, and The Chrysanthemums.
