These instructions
are
designed primarily for my male peers who may need to prepare a long
sleeved
black dress shirt for an occasion, opposed to the expenses of the
cleaner's. Understanding
how to iron a shirt is not as easy as it may seem from the outset. Ironing
methods vary
from
one item of clothing to the next. This is particularly true in terms of
black
dress shirts. However, with a few simple instructions, ironing a shirt
properly
will seem as simple as any other everyday task. The directions I
provide are
simple enough so that they apply to any make or model of iron. To view

Before
You Start Here is a complete
list of items you will need before you start
ironing your shirt: ·
A
wrinkled long sleeved black dress shirt. · A
place to work. It should be big enough for you along with the things
listed
below. It should have a place to plug in the iron and a fire
extinguisher on
standby in case of an emergency. · Access
to a dryer to remove any moisture and remove major wrinkles. · An
iron to heat and press the shirt. ·
An
ironing board to place shirt on and utilize the iron efficiently. · A
can of starch, preferably the spray, to ensure proper dispensing of the
liquid
and stiffening of the shirt. .
