= Subject-verb or pronoun-antcedent agreement is lacking in person or number.

amb
= A word or statement is ambiguous.
awk (or K)
= Awkward construction or statement needs rephrasing.
cap (or uc)
= Capitalization (upper case letter) is needed or not needed if preceded by "no" ( no cap).
cs (or cf)
= A comma splice or comma fault error needs correcting.
choppy
= Sentences are too short and lack variety.
c
= Essential clarity is lacking.
coh
= Writing lacks necessary coherence.
comp
= A faulty, incomplete or illogical comparison is used.
crash
= Point at which a document reveals an untenable number of mechanical problems and is rejected.
d
= Weak or poor diction (word choice) is a problem.
dang
= Sentence has a dangling part, e.g., a participle or modifier.
dead
= The writing unit is cluttered with words or expressions that add no real content.

= A lack of sufficient development (enough specifics, for example) is a problem.

= The expression contains an obvious or glaring grammatical error.

= A heading or subheading is needed.

= Statement contains unidiomatic expression.

= Marked expression is illiterate.

= Indicated word or words should be italicized.
lc
= Lower case (not capitals) should be used when marked.
logic
= The statement is illogical.
ms
= Some requirements of manuscript form are not maintained.

= Document is badly flawed in concept or execution and needs to be done again from square one.

=A necessary word or punctuation mark has been omitted and needs to be inserted where indicated.

= Work is poorly or illogically organized.

= Reference is unclear, ambiguous, or illogical.

= Statement is unnecessarily repetitious or redundant.

= Shotgun paragraph, loaded with unrelated statements

= Marked word is misspelled.

= Sentence sense lacking, usually for a breakdown in logic, coherence, and/or grammar.

= Indicated phrase should be made subordinate to its sentence main clause.

= Tense of the marked verb is wrong or questionable.

= Statement is too obvious or simplistic (reveals a "terrifying grasp of the obvious").
tone
= Tone is inappropriate for the context.

= Some or better sort of transition is needed to make the statement coherent.

= Indicated paragraph lacks unity.

= Variety is needed in expression or sentence structure.

= Verb form is faulty.

= Passage is too wordy.

= A better choice of a word is needeed.
