Week 1	Monday, August 24 Course introduction and syllabus discussion. Information regarding UCS account. The course home page URL is http://www.ucs.ull.edu/~jwf7377/index.html .When you have opened your UCS account, e-mail me using the e-mail link found on the English 365 home page. Week 3	Monday, September 7 Labor Day Holiday Wednesday, September 9 Read Chapter Five: Document Design and Layout. Other Works in Progress (OWIP). Friday, September 11 Basic Home Page checkpoint (preliminary and ungraded).Your home page should be up on the UCS server. If time permits, we will be reviewing each student's Web site in class; if time does not permit, I will be reviewing these preliminary web sites at home.Remember that there are thee other checkpoints associated with this project. Week 6	Monday, September 28 Checkpoint for Instructions. You must turn in hard copy of your Instructions at the beginning of the class. After you make appropriate corrections and additions, be sure to ftp a copy of your camera ready instructions to your public_html file and put a link to that file on your home page so anyone can download it. Note	The Final Examination for English 365-4 is scheduled for Monday, December 7, from 11:00 PM to 1:30 PM. I will be in my office (HLG 230) during those hours for those who wish to retrieve their portfolios and final examinations and get their final course grade.The final examination for English 365-6 is scheduled from 2:00-4:30.
