The Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program is designed to increase the number of low-income, first-generation college students and underrepresented minority students in doctoral programs. Its long-range mission is to help increase the diversity of college and university faculties
The University's Ronald E. McNair Post-baccalaureate Program (or the McNair program for short) began in September of 1995. The Program is designed to assist qualified students who wish to enter and complete Ph.D. programs. The program has both an academic year and a summer component.
