External Evaluator for a collaborative NSF research in disabilities education
project between Wright State University and Ohio State University to increase
recruitment of high school students with disabilities (SwD) into the STEM
(science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines, improve their
college retention and graduation rates, and the successful entry into STEM
graduate programs. Total award amount $3.0 million with $192,000 earmarked for
the evaluation.
Ohio Science and Engineering Alliance: NSF Grant No. HRD-0991560,
(2003-2008)
Program Evaluator serving as an evaluation team member for the Louis Stokes
Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP), a NSF initiative to increase
minority student recruitment and retention in the STEM (science, technology,
engineering and mathematics) fields and successful entry into STEM graduate
programs. Total award amount $3.5 million.
