How to do Pilates: Beginning Level
Using a Stability Ball

Ab Crunch
Bridge
Arm and Leg Raise
Shoulder-Chest Stretch
Leg Lifts

    These instructions are intended for people at the beginning level. This workout should take about an hour, if the steps are done correctly. Before beginning this or any other exercise program, consult a physician. This is especially important if you are over 35 years of age or have a pre-existing medical condition.

MATERIALS:

 Here is a list of the items you need to get started:

  • Stability Ball
    • See Figure 1
  • Yoga Mat (optional)
  • Light and comfortable clothes
  • Enough floor space for exercises
