LSU's baseball team has an all time record of 2057-1379-22 since it was started in 1893. They have won the College World Series Tournament 5 times in 13 appearances. They have also won the SEC championship 13 times. The baseball team plays all of their home games at the Alex Box stadium, which LSU is currently under construction of a new baseball field that will take on the same name.

This is the Intimidator which sits in the corner of right field. It highlights LSU's 5 national championships, which were all won under the same coach Skip Bertman, who is now the Altheltic Cooridinator for LSU.

Softball
softball team
LSU's softball team was started in 1978, and only played 3 seasons before going 14 straight years without having a softball team. The softball team started back in 1997, and has played evey season since then. The softball team's all time record is 625-180. They have won 5 SEC championships and have appeared in the Women's College World Series twice. The softball team plays their games at Tiger Park, which LSU is also currently constructing a new field for the softball team also.
