Operations Before Training

Before training starts, the network has to be created and initialized according to the given parameters:

• Given specifications are double checked for missing network definition parameters (see Section 4.1.2).
• The data set is loaded (see Section 4.1.3).
• The weight and bias matrices representing connectivity strength between layers of the network are then created and initialized (see Section 4.1.4).

Finally the training parameters are initialized according to the network definition parameters and the training starts.
