My current research is broadly in the areas of wireless, satellite and optical networks and systems. I am particularly interested in mathematical modeling and simulation studies of attainable performance in these networks. Some specific examples of current research are: High Performance Packet Switches, Rate-Adaptive Coding for Wireless Channels, Random Access with Capture, and Cognitive Radios.
