Mathematical Interests

My current research interests are in Commutative Algebra with an emphasis in Ring and Module Theory. My interests in Ring Theory focus on the concept of primeness. I am also interested in Graph Thoery, in particular certain bipartite graphs and how these graphs relate to commutative rings. I have a passion for mathematical education and outreach. I am also concerned with mentoring and diversifying the mathematical sciences community.

Publications

Bipartite Graphs of Spectra of Certain Commutative Rings (with A. Li), in preparation.

Prime Ideals of Three-Dimensional Rings and their Two-Dimensional Quotient Rings, in preparation.

List Decoding Algorithms for Reed-Solomon Codes (with I. Fene, M. Gonzalez, J. Johnson, M. Lennon, and K. Pr'Out), submitted.

The Projective Line Over the Integers (with E. Celikbas), accepted to Progress in Commutative Algebra.

Prime ideals in birational extensions of two-dimensional power series rings (with M. Luckas and S. Saydam), accepted to Communications in Algebra.

Teaching

Below are the courses I am currently teaching. If you are a student, please access Moodle for more information about the courses.
