Final Portfolio ENGL 365 Spring 2011 Project Descriptions: Project 1: Online Resume Project Introduction: The purpose of this assignment was to create a professional website that highlights my qualifications. The audience would be any prospective employer interested in hiring me.  Project 2: Instructions Project Introduction: The purpose of this assignment was to help anyone craving a sweet treat, bake a delicious pie called the Chocolate Yum Yum Cake. The audience would be anyone wanting to bake a pie. Part of the assignment was to conduct an informal usability test. A member of my target audience gave me feedback in order for me to improve any problems that may have been present in my instructions. Project 3: Group Proposal Project Introduction: The purpose of this assignment was to convince the Lafayette Parish Consolidated Government to ban smoking in all Lafayette Parish bars. The target audience was the Lafayette Parish Consolidated Government. My contribution to this project was to research the costs and schedule that it would take a bar in Lafayette to construct an outside patio designated for smoking customers.
