| Building the Blind
- Nail the small 1 inch blocks of wood 1.5 feet away from the bottom of each 6 foot post.
- Make sure the small wooden blocks are facing away from the leeve.
- About 6 feet apart, hammer two post into the ground (using the large hammer) where the water meets the leeve.
- Stop hammering when the small wooden blocks are about 4 inches above the water.
- About
4 feet away from the first post, hammer the other 2 post even with the
first ones (they should be out in the water) and the blocks should be
facing the leeve.
- Take the 6x4 piece of board and place it on the top of all 4 of the blocks to create a platform.
- Nail the board to all 4 of the blocks so it does not move.
- Make sure the platform is level, if it is not make adjustments by hammering the high sides posts further into the ground.
