Design
and
implementation of a program in VB that plots the two-dimensional
contour for
optimization equation and curves for constraint equations. The program
takes the
upper and lower limit of objective function (optimization equation)
as
input for both the axes. This program is designed in such a way that if
optimization problem is need
to be changed from two bar truss optimization to spring optimization,
only relative equations are required to be changed and th program will
output the result in graphical format. The graph below shows contour
and constraint
curves for two bar truss optimization and the direction of triangle
show the feasible side of dimension.
