The Departmentof Communicative Disorders is housed in Burke-Hawthorne Hall (Departmentoffice is room 213; telephone # 337-482-6721).

The Department of Communicative Disorders offers B.A. and M.S. degrees with an emphasisin speech-language pathology, and a doctoral program in Applied Linguisticsand Speech Sciences.  The program is fullyaccredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Dr. Tetnowski has been a member of the faculty of Communicative Disorders at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since 1999. He was named the Ben Blanco Memorial Distinguished Professorship in Communicative Disorders in 2002.  The Department of CommunicativeDisorders is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
