Application for Departmental TA and Fee Waiver awards: Departmental TA and fee waiver positions are available on a competitive basis to students in the second semester of their studies. First semester academic performance is a primary criterion for these awards. All funded students are expected to be on the thesis track. Accordingly, at the end of the first semester, those seeking funding will be asked to submit a well-researched thesis proposal. Ability and willingness to assist in our undergraduate engineering laboratories and lecture classes will be a prerequisite for TA/FW positions. This generally means you have an EE or related undergraduate degree and that your afternoon schedules for the semester are mostly free.

Attention: Thesis students Graduate School has developed clear guidelines on thesis format. Please consult this document before/while writing your thesis. All theses are expected to conform fully to these guidelines.
